What city could be more ideal for hosting a European meeting than Strasbourg? Boasting over 2,000 years of history and international encounters, Strasbourg holds a unique position at the very heart of Europe. It is a beacon of humanism, which played a pioneering role in the reconstruction of Europe and is home to several key European institutions: the European Parliament, the Council of Europe and the European Court of Human Rights.

But Strasbourg’s appeal extends beyond its political significance; it is also a place of History and Architecture. A stroll through its streets offers views of its magnificent cathedral, charming half-timbered houses, grand imperial palaces and lovely medieval streets. Despite its population of 280 000 inhabitants, Strasbourg retains the cozy feel of a village.
